Akanksha Srivastava has a bachelor's degree in finance and accounting. She also has a Master's in Banking and Finance. She has been working in the banking sector in the past at various managerial positions in Industrial Development Bank of India (IDBI) focusing on retail banking and SMEs.

Furthermore she has professional degree from Institute of chartered accountants of India (ICAI) encompassing disciplines such as Finance, Marketing, Corporate Law, and Audit & Accounting.

She has a deep interest in Sustainability and Circular Economy sector and has a academic certification in Circular Economy of Metals: Towards a Sustainable Societal Metabolism by Universiteit Leiden and also has completed various courses on Sustainable finance and Green Economy from United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) and UN PAGE.

She is presently working as business development head in the Asia Pacific division of Minpol looking into Circular Economy and sustainability focused business opportunities and client network expansion. She is also working on integrating Circular Economy features in MINRIS app conceptualized by Minpol.
