Ali Ismail Al-Juboury

Ali Ismail Al-Jubory graduated in geology from Mosul University, Iraq in 1980, M.Sc. in sedimentology from Mosul University in 1983, Ph.D. in petrology and mineralogy of sedimentary rocks from Comenius University, Bratislava, Slovakia in 1992. He is currently on the teaching and research staff of the Geology Department of Mosul University, Iraq.

His scientific expertise led to awarding him three research visits granted by DAAD (Germany), the Australian Endeavour Research award, the Iraqi Vice-President First Award for Scientific Research, the Distinguished Scholars Award of the Arab Foundation of Economic and Social Development, Kuwait which allows him to do a sabbatical work at Royal Holloway of University of London, UK.

Al-Jubory is a member of numerous international societies and is a potential referee for many papers in international journals. He also a member in editorial board of the Iraqi Journal of Earth Sciences and the International Journal of Sedimentology and Statigraphy of Oil and Gas Basins, Azerbaijan.
His publications include; 65 paper and 48 abstract published in local and international journals, symposiums and conferences. Furthermore, Professor Al-Jubory also achieved successful collaboration studies with researchers round the world.
